Welcome Bluesky! This is a page dedicated to a further expansion upon Gems' portrayal of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Character:Game Sonic (Sonic 1 - Unleashed) + Archie Sonic

As the title says, this interpretation of Sonic takes from both the games and Archie.If you ever plan on reading Archie for yourself, I suggest you avoid reading this section of the page as it will detail nearly all the events that transpire within the comics (seeing as Sonic is the main character). With that in mind, there are also a few tweaks I've made to make the narrative "make sense" when incorporating the games into the comics- as in the original writing, most of the games' content is overlooked or entirely rewritten.With those warnings out of the way, listed below is the entire story for this interpretation of Sonic the Hedgehog (read at your own risk!- and know that I am chipping away at this section still. So there will be updates to it in the future!):Sonic is a triplet and knows Sally from his childhood as two future heirs to their respective kingdoms (Sonic to Christmas Isle, Sally to the mainland). The two of them were set up to eventually get married in Aleena’s vision to strengthen the bonds between both kingdoms. This means Aleena is his birth mother and the other triplets (Sonia and Manic) are related by blood. Bernadette, Jules, and Uncle Chuck are his adoptive family that Sonic was passed off to after Aleena gave up her kids to save them from Eggman's take over. To further disassociate Sonic with Aleena’s crown, Jules and Bernadette named him the infamous “Olgilvie Maurice”- with Jules calling him by “Maurice” in public. The other triplets, of course, were separated to other reaches of Mobius. Sonic grows up with Jules and Bernadette believing he is a single child because of the early-age separation, but recalls much of his time with Sally prior to Robotnik’s takeover since he spends a great deal of his childhood being taken care of by Chuck- the royal engineer for the Acorn Kingdom.Sonic, despite being hidden away with Jules and Bernadette still experiences the spreading effects of Robotnik's world dominance, and becomes increasingly aware of how dire the situation becomes. A run away once Uncle Chuck is roboticized and Sally needs saving from her own castle, Sonic 1 takes place as Sally settles the rest of the group into Knothole. Sonic is a selective mute from trauma, and only opens up once he re-encounters Sally and her ragtag team of Freedom Fighters (post Sonic 2). With the help of Sally and Tails, Sonic would re-find his voice and become the cocky, quick-witted hedgehog most are familiar with to this day.The triplets in kind do not ever fully meet back up, as with Sonic becoming intermeshed with the Freedom Fighters, he hardly ever finds a break to search them out. Further, with the idea of freedom being at his core, becoming a monarch stands directly against his own ideals. He only becomes vaguely aware of what his siblings are up to thanks to Sally’s role as Princess. This also keeps Sonia and Manic out of harm’s way, as Eggman has more than once chosen to hurt those closest to Sonic as a means to thwart him. Sonia, in Sonic's stead, rules over Christmas Isle while Manic remains beside her as a next of kin if something were to ever happen that Sonia would no longer be able to rule.Sonic, meanwhile, continues his adventures with Sally and Co, except for in the events where game canon takes place (Amy being kidnapped by Metal Sonic, Shadow's debut, etc.) This is to negate much of the mess made by Penders, and smoothly integrate the games and comics into the muse, as Sonic is able to have his own adventures away from the Knothole Freedom Fighters. The more Sonic succeeds (and the more game entries there are) the more Mobius begins to heal and tame down and the universe looks closer to game-canon. As one can guess too, this means some of the Archie stories I am striking out from the canon of this iteration of Sonic. Further, the 30 years later canon will also be respectfully discarded- though Sonic does recall the event akin to how Sonic recalls Sonic 06 as a “dead timeline”.For those unfamiliar with Archie, here is everything in detail.

Wave 1:First War- A battle between the “overlanders” (humans) and Mobians. Sonic’s world was merely recovering from it when Robotnik came through and took it over while it was weakened.Sally Acorn - Sonic’s first girlfriend. They have a great deal of history that will be mentioned later. They have almost gotten married multiple times, but it has always somehow fallen through. This relationship affects Sonic to this day.Nichole - a supercomputer A.I. that fits into the palm of your hand. At first, she’s nothing more than that- but she still plays an important role as Sally’s other “right hand man” next to Sonic. Nichole is the wise sage, Sonic is the knight. Later on, she gets her own mobian and super form- but that is very far into the future. Her origins are unknown to the cast (but I have listed it under the Zones section).Sonic 1-3 (and Knuckles).Breezie - an android made by Dr.Eggman to seduce Sonic. It worked for a little while until the truth about her intentions were uncovered. Breezie, who ended up crushing on Sonic too, went against Dr.Eggman and overcame her coding to aid Sonic in thwarting Robotnik’s true plans while Sonic was distracted. She is more of a fling for Sonic than anything serious like Sally.Lake of Rings - A magical lake that generates rings. These rings are sources of power that are tangentially connected to the emeralds, but are weaker than the emeralds themselves when used individually. The lake generates a single power ring an hour. Pre-existing rings can be found scattered around the world for collection and use if waiting for the next one to generate takes too long or multiple rings are needed for a task. Its location is a secret. Rings grant power boosts, or wisdom/knowledge to their user.(C)AL Brothers - the first gods that Sonic comes into contact with. Making it known to him that gods exist at all.Bunnie Rabbot - the existence of cyborgs within his world as he had pulled Bunnie out from a roboticizer mid-transformation. He would later have a small fling with Bunnie, but it was ultimately unserious.First Guitar - Found in an abandoned concert hall. Sparked his interest in music. Has also led to the discovery that he is musically talented!Pseudo-Sonic - The first “Metal Sonic”. Revealed the location of the OG Knothole.Cosmic Interstate and Moebius - Scourge’s first introduction along with the other antis.Time-Travel - Sonic is time-displaced by Robotnik. This is the first time he has time-traveled, which leads to him handling later instances across the series.Fiona Fox (and her android-self) - her android was found first by Tails stranded on an island, but the real Fiona was out there somewhere. The real Fiona becomes a love interest for Sonic much later on, but for now Tails is the only one with a crush on her (or her fake self made to infiltrate Knothole).Sally’s (first) Robotization - Speaks for itself. Sally was roboticized, and it was another instance of loss for Sonic to Robotnik taking the people he loves away from him. This time it is thankfully undone…Sonic Triple TroubleUncle Chuck (Robian) - Former Scientific Advisor in the Kingdom of Acorn. He aided in taking care of Sonic and is another “father-like” figure to the blue blur.> He made the original roboticizer to prolong mobian life and tested it on Jules (Sonic’s adopted father) after he was fatally wounded in the First War. Robotnik sabotaged the machine behind his back- turning Jules into a shell of his former self. This technology was then stolen by Ivo to become the warlord he is in the series.> Uncle Chuck was also the first mobian to be roboticized that has regained their original consciousness while still being within a roboticized body. In his “Robian” form, he helps the Freedom Fighters spy on Robotnik until the end of “Wave 1”. He loses his will once again temporarily in Wave 3 before again being a double agent.Geoffery St. John - A wedge between Sonic and Sally’s relationship. He is much older than both of them (college aged). Sonic and Geoffrey fight with one another multiple times over Sally’s affections.Ancient Walkers - Chaos Demigods crafted ~10K yrs. prior- they appear to Sonic after he has collected his 1 billionth ring. Bestowing the knowledge onto Sonic that the chaos emeralds and rings are interconnected to one another.Zone of Silence - A Zone created by the evil wizard Ixis Naugus, King Acorn was banished to the realm in Robotnik’s uprise. Sonic and Sally eventually save him from this Zone with Geoffery’s help.Mecha Sonic - Sonic being roboticized without a Neuro-Overrider. He is eventually returned to his Mobian self, but is left with a sense of guilt for what he had done under Robotnik’s influence.King Maximillian (Max) Acorn - after being saved from the Zone of Silence, he was cursed with an unknown disease that was turning him into a giant green crystal. He is Sally’s father, who eventually retains his memories and body from crystallization.Sally’s “Death” Trial - Sonic was framed for Sally’s “death” when an impostor Sonic had cut the rope Sally was using to scale down a building, making her fall to her assumed demise. Sonic himself was blamed for the incident, and once again had to prove his innocence that it wasn’t him who committed the crime. Robotnik, using a fake “healed” King Acorn, attempts to seal the verdict for Sonic. Robotnik is quick to reveal himself using the fake King, and his multiple traitors who infiltrated Knothole during previous adventures. Something something “For the first time in Sonic’s life, Sonic truly understands the meaning of war.” - STH:48Robotnik’s “Death” - A near-death experience for the entire cast, especially Sonic. After proving his innocence, and Sonic instilled with a “do-or-die” attitude, Sonic had to face off against Robotnik hand-to-fist during the countdown of the Ultimate Annihilator- a space cannon that was set to destroy all organic life on Mobius. Sonic was not able to stop the cannon from firing in time, however Snivley (Robotnik’s nephew and lackie) altered the Ultimate Annihilator to only target Robotnik’s D.N.A.. Robotnik was then snuffed from existence, but the blast left holes which created pocket dimensions on Mobius (like the Sol Dimension). Sonic returns home victorious, giving a kiss to Sally that awoke her from her death-like coma.Wave 2:Solo-Adventuring - Not wanting to be involved in the political nonsense and the rebuilding of Mobius after the fight is over- Sonic breaks from the Freedom Fighters to chase down the re-released Ixis Nagus that is causing havoc all over a healing Mobius. This is where Sonic would also have many of his solo acts with Tails.Green-Eyes - A beam from space (fired by an AU Doctor Robotnik- Robo-Robotnik) threatens all of Mobius and it is up to Sonic to save everyone from another time-line breaking event with Knothole still being in a barriered time-dialysis set 3 hours ahead of the rest of the planet following the Ultimate Annihilator's killing off Robotnik. Using a Super Emerald, Sonic attracts the beam directed at Knothole just in time so Knothole is freed from being locked slightly ahead in the future, taking the hit instead which alters his appearance- mainly his brown eyes becoming emerald green.Robotnik’s Return - After Sally and Nichole discover the belt of satellites orbiting Mobius, and connecting the dots that each one has been messing with recent events revolving around Sonic, the freedom fighters decide to investigate the mysterious space crafts. At the same time of the Freedom Fighters’ meeting, the satellites came together to form a single space station, firing a beam directly at Knothole to steal all the Robians living there away from the Mobians*. After the fight, and Robotnik moving his reprogrammed army back to the planet’s surface, Sonic and friends escape- and the space base is destroyed in their wake. Robotnik dawned his adventure-styled appearance after he too survived.Wave 3:Mina Mongoose - A crush for Sonic in the future that ultimately goes nowhere- but in her first appearance she is seen being rounded up for robotization upon Eggman’s return. She escapes the fate by Sonic and Co. swarming Robotnik’s new HQ. During a search for a particular sword, she kisses Sonic in front of Sally, dividing Sonic and Sally even more after all the nonsense of St. John..
Kingdom of Knothole - Knothole, under King Acorn’s decree, is no longer the home away from home, but the permanent home to all his subjects and the Freedom Fighters.Sonic CD - introduces the Metal Sonic everybody knows and loves.Sonic 4 I+II and Sonic 4: Ep. MetalSonic Generations (Classic’s POV)Sonic Mania + (Classic’s POV)Misc. Classic Sonic titles (these can technically happen in any order as far as Sonic is concerned. Not so much for Knuckles- but this is a Sonic muse.)Sonic SuperstarsSonic AdventureSilver Sonic II - More of a fun side-fight. This version of Metal Sonic is seen in a capsule within SA1 and goes unused in the game’s canon. After Sonic wins against him, he is reprogrammed to fight off Robotnik from harming Station Square. Silver Sonic II is later taken out by Robotnik- leaving Station Square unprotected.“Metal Sonic” (Shard) - The “OG” Metal Sonic. He “hid himself to repair himself” to survive their last encounter without returning to Robotnik. He appears to fight Sonic again after all this time and is completely unlike the Metal Sonics that exist in the games. Able to talk back and have just as much attitude as the blue blur himself. Sonic beats him once again, and as a volcano erupts to engulf the terrain, Metal Sonic sacrifices himself realizing he can be more than what his programming dictates. Later, like Silver Sonic II, he is reprogrammed to become a hero and fight alongside the Freedom Fighters (with an entirely new paint job to boot as a reference to Metal Sonic 3.0 in Rivals II). This is when he goes by “Shard” and exists as another rival-turned-friend of Sonic’s.Sonic Advance 1+2Sonic Shuffle - official introduction of Nightmarens into Sonic’s World rather than a cheeky easter egg as NiGHTS is later seen in the Adventure games and titles.Sword of Acorns - A magical sword owned by the Acorn lineage. It showed signs that it had the potential of giving roboticized citizens their free will back. Sonic, in a desperate attempt to get his Uncle Chuck back from Eggman’s control, steals the sword. Sonic then loses it and it is stolen by a third party from Robotnik’s lair. Sonic is then quarantined to only be allowed to exist within Knothole until the sword has been retrieved back. Sonic spends months confined to Knothole. Eventually he sneaks out on his own to discover that Robotnik no longer has the sword, and Sally is the one to retrieve it as it was hidden by the third party within a fissure underground. The Freedom Fighters then lead a charge into Robotnik’s base with the sword to free the re-mind-controlled robians from the Doctor.Hope Kintobor- Robotnik’s Niece and step-sister to Snivley.> She stayed with Robotnik in Robotropolis for an extended period of time while the Overlanders were tricked into staying by Robotnik’s side. Robotnik planned to roboticize them all in due time, but long before the Doctor had been given the chance, Hope was suspicious of him and the city as a whole. Finding the roboticized mobians on her own tipped the girl off that not everything was as it seemed. Robotnik, meanwhile, had an airborne toxin that poisoned the humans living in his city, forcing their hands to allow Robotnik to roboticize them. Further, with just a touch of his hand, Robotnik was able to midas-touch any living being into a robot. Hope wouldn’t be spared of Robotnik until much later, losing her step-father and grandmother in the process to robotization.> Much later on, Hope works together with the Freedom Fighters and G.U.N. as a child super genius engineer.Sonic Adventure 2Zonic (and the Zone Cops) - An AU of Sonic himself which exists within the Cosmic Interstate. Zonic specifically watches alternate iterations of Sonic himself (people like Scourge) as Sonic is a universe-defining entity within Mobius Prime (a.k.a. The Main Universe). The rest of the Zone Cops are also variants of the Prime Cast which focus on detaining multiversal threats (Mephiles, the Time Eater, etc.)The end of Robotropolis - After the President sleuths out Robotnik’s headquarters in Robotropolis, 3 warheads are sent to the city to snuff the doctor out. The only problem is that the warheads would take out Knothole with it. Sonic and Tails head out to ask Robotnik to destroy the warheads with his tech, but Robotnik refuses- claiming he will be safe behind his force field that encompasses the city. Sonic and Tails then race to sabotage the force field temporarily (tricking the Doctor into thinking they will deactivate it entirely). The duo are successful, and the delay for Robotnik putting up the shield ensured that only Robotropolis was affected by the blast- as the forcefield kept the explosion contained within the city.

Wave 4:Tommy Turtle - A rescue mission gone wrong. Sonic snuck into enemy territory where a group of vagabonds were about to have a meeting with the revived Doctor Robotnik. Tommy, a hostage held by the group, was bait to get Sonic to come out alone as the two knew each other prior to Robotnik’s take over. Sonic bursts through in the middle of their meeting with the Doctor, and all but one of the members and Tommy had been roboticized by Eggman’s touch. Amidst the chaos of Sonic attempting to escape with his old ally, a grenade is thrown which has Tommy sacrifice himself to save Sonic. The blue blur was thrown out of a window with not a second to spare before the building burst into flames with everyone else still inside.Molecule Vibration - a testament to Sonic’s speed. Able to vibrate himself and others at such a high frequency that, with enough time, he can phase through a barrier. Perhaps an early sign that Sonic is a sort of “chosen one” with a connection unknown to the emeralds with a variation of chaos control.Nack is Back - Nack returns just after Sonic and Mina share a moment creating music together with the entire town watching. The weasel kidnapped Princess Sally, and used her as ransom for money. Sonic, after capturing one of Nack’s gang members, gets the outlaw to squeal that the location Sally is being held in is an old mansion given to Nack by his family. Sonic is the first to speed off and Mina follows behind without Sonic knowing until they both arrive at the mansion. Inside, Sally is already in the works of saving herself, taking down Nack first and acquiring his gun to fend for herself against the remaining group. Sonic and Mina break up to look for Sally, with Sonic finding her first. With the remaining goons neutralized, the two embrace with Sally finally confessing to Sonic she loves him. The two kiss, which is seen by Mina, causing Mina to run off. Sonic and Sally then go looking for Mina, wondering if the Sniper has run off. Mina catches Nack about to shoot Sally to “cut his losses”. Mina, despite her heartache, takes the hit instead as she “has to save her for him (Sonic).” Mina, while bleeding out also confesses to Sonic that she loves him. Mina, with medical treatment, survives being shot- leaving Sonic torn between two girls.The Last Robian - Before Sonic can figure out his romantic situation, once again all the roboticized mobians go missing from Knothole. For three weeks, none of them were found- until one by one they slowly all returned to Knothole as their organic selves- all except for Jules (Sonic’s father). When the other, former roboticized mobians were asked how they were changed back, they said they could not remember. Feeling slighted by the situation, Sonic vows to find out who had been able to change everyone else back and refuses to allow Jules the same recovery.Sonic HeroesRoyal Consort - Sally and Sonic go to King and Queen Acorn with Sally requesting that Sonic be her royal consort, a title given to those who will later marry into the royal family.Shadow meets Hope Kintobor - more of a pinnacle moment for Shadow, but important to the overall dynamic that unfolds between Sonic and Shadow later on as Hope helps Shadow come to understand he can rely on others (Sonic and Co) for help and that failure is all a part of the lifeform experience (but that comes much-much later).Fleetway - after interacting with six new stones similar to the seven chaos emeralds, Sonic’s Superform becomes a separate entity which Sonic himself has to fight in his base form (basically making the idea of Fleetway Super Sonic canon to his world). But, because super forms are temporary, this individualized Super Sonic fades away and ceases to exist after all of Sonic’s rings are depleted.Wave 5:Shadow the Hedgehog (05)Sonic BattleSonic Advance 3Sonic 06Sonic Returns to Knothole - After all of Sonic’s time being swallowed up by back-to-back adventures with the core game cast, Sonic returns to Knothole to find it has completely changed within a single year. Hearing the news that Sonic died, however, left Sally (and all of Knothole) in mourning until he returned in the flesh to the kingdom. Sonic and Sally once again share a kiss, but now all of Knothole is fully aware that the two are dating/betrothed to each other.Operation Triple Threat - Not a moment to enjoy his homecoming, Sonic is off to the races to stop Robotnik’s two warheads from firing off with one set to hit Knothole, and the other set to Station Square. When Robotnik is confronted, and Tails works on shutting down the launch, Robotnik squeals that his entire operation is under the control of A.D.A.M., a sentient computer virus. Shadow makes his reappearance, wanting to kill the Doctor for unexplained reasons, but nonetheless aiding the group in his own way to win against the Doctor. Tails, however, is unable to override A.D.A.M., leading to Bunnie needing to sink the battleship the fight takes place on to fry the motherboard and wires about to fire off the warheads. Shadow disappears to be a lone wolf, while everyone else returns to Knothole (along with the REAL Fiona Fox now in the fray of Freedom Fighters).The Watch - Along the way, Sonic had picked up a watch which held a message from Tails’ parents that explained they had been teleported to the other side of the galaxy. This watch was given to Tails just before Sonic’s return party back in Knothole.Ash Mongoose - Resolving the issue of Mina’s affections towards Sonic- Mina had found a manager for her singing career in the time of Sonic’s absence who she started to date while Sonic was away from Knothole and the war with Robotnik came back into full swing.“The Slap” - During the welcome home party, King Acorn announces that he is going to tour Mobius to gain better ties with the other nations around the planet to strengthen their kingdom’s power. Sally is left behind on this tour to keep the kingdom running, and asks Sonic to also stay behind in the kingdom to help lead it. Sonic, who knows he is a key asset in keeping Robotnik at bay, remorsefully refuses Sally’s request. Sally, in front of all of Sonic’s friends and peers, slaps Sonic across the face, calling him selfish for not wanting to settle down and tie the knot. Needless to say, the two are no longer a couple.“Death” of Jules - An android clone of Tommy has infiltrated Knothole and has become friends with the Sonic family. But one morning, after King Acorn had sent Sonic off on missions all night, Sonic returns home fatigued and immediately goes to bed. With the rest of the family caught up in morning commotions, the android sneaks off to kill Sonic in his own bed- but not before Jules catches on and follows. Jules and the fake Tommy get into a fight in Sonic’s room, waking Sonic up from slumber just in time to see Jules get stabbed through the torso and go offline. In a panic after destroying the Tommy clone, Sonic runs to the Lake of Rings to grab a fresh power ring and used it to revive Jules from his untimely demise.Wave 6:New Megaopolis - Rather, New Robotropolis as Eggman had built an entirely new city for himself out of the ashes of the old Robotropolis.Egg Grape Chamber - A device that bubbled Mobians up and gathered them together in the formation of grape vines full of fruit. Any Mobian trapped inside was melted down and their lifeforce nutrients to power New Megaopolis. Not only did victims die within the chamber- but the device also tortured victims with the following: mind erasure, toxic infusions, and their corpses dissolved in acid to scrape every ounce of energy the body had to give. This event won’t be resolved until later, but is noted now as its existence is ongoing through the following events.Sonic RushImpostor Syndrome - Scourge infiltrates Mobius Prime pretending to be the blue blur himself. While present, and dressing the part, he spends his time getting together with any girl who fancies the blue blur himself and is willing to fall for his rough boy charms. Before he is found out, Rouge leads him directly to the Master Emerald thinking Sonic is aiding her in stealing the jewel. Sonic, who cuts Scourge off before he can get there, gets into a major scrap with his double while Rouge is distracting the Master Emerald’s guardian. Sonic is able to make him leave, but not before Scourge takes a chunk of gems with him out to convince Rouge to take him along off Angel Island.Nichole “Mobian” - Nichole after experiencing what it is like to be alive in Sally’s body in a temporary body swap builds a complex hologram for herself much akin to the Phantom Ruby illusions. Not exactly a real body, but enough of one to exist and interact with the world around her. Holding this form at the moment though drains her energy quickly. This Lynx body projection for now is only able to last a few minutes.A.D.A.M.’s Nanites - A struggling Robotnik gives A.D.A.M. the access to do whatever it wants in order to speed up and assure Robotnik’s world domination. As such, the Nanites the doctor was working on are freed to take over Mobius like a precursor to the Metal Virus (as seen in IDW). Sonic and the rest of the freedom fighters ban together to investigate and stop the Nanites within 24 hours. Sonic, and all the girls Scourge secretly had affairs with in Sonic’s absence, form a team and land on ground 0 of Robotnik’s territory. Not wanting to become roboticized again, Snively covertly aids Sonic in deactivating the Nanites. Bunnie is captured by the assimilation of Nanites which try to further bring her into their hivemind via her robotic body parts. Sonic confronting the nanite-beast, points out the counter-intuitive nature of trying to assimilate Bunnie into their hivemind, as Bunnie’s organics can’t be added to their entity. This confuses the nanites, leading to its binary understanding to become its undoing. Sonic and Bunnie share a kiss before Sonic relays her out of the area, the other Freedom Fighters following behind and thankfully not needing to resort to Snivley’s plan with E.M.P.s involved.Fiona Fox - With Mina getting together with Ash Mongoose and Sally breaking things off with Sonic after “The Slap”- Sonic and Fiona are caught kissing in the bushes by none-other than Tails who still has the hots for Fiona. Upset by the discovery, Tails lashes out on Sonic for betraying him when Sonic was fully aware of Tails’ lingering romantic interest in Fiona from when he interacted with the fake Fiona. Fiona butts in to reprimand Tails for getting onto Sonic, as the relationship Tails longs to have with a much older Fiona now never existed for the real her- and thus she has no interest in Tails for that reason (and the fact she is much older than him- being closer in age to Sonic himself). A divide is made between the best friends that will be ongoing- meanwhile Sally is set to marry Antonie’s impostor from Moebius who has been pretending to be ‘Twan himself ever since Scourge had swapped places with Sonic too.Sally Marries “Antonie” (Patch).Elias Acorn becomes King - Sally’s older brother assumes the throne in Sally’s place knowing Sally is not in love with who she believes is Antonie, nullifying the entire purpose for Patch to take Sally as his wife. Patch then tries to assassinate the new king, with Sonic discovering that this ‘Twan isn’t the real deal. Sonic defeats Patch and takes him back to Moebius where the real Antonie had been playing along with the Anti-Freedom Fighter cast to survive. Antoine and Bunnie get back together- but Sonic moves on from Sally as he assumes the princess still wants nothing to do with him as he continues to fight rather than settle down. Deep down though, his heart is still set on the princess.Sonic’s Birthday - The Freedom Fighters throw Sonic a surprise party and have fixed up the original F.F. Base knowing that Sonic is nostalgic for how his friendships were between the core cast before Robotnik’s first defeat. Not long after the festivities begin though, Bean and Bark crash the party. Fiona distracts Bean with keys, and Bark is apprehended while Bean is distracted. Sally confronts Fiona about how she knew the keys would work as a distraction, and Fiona admits that her past wasn’t always a good guy. At the same time, Rouge and Scourge are back at it again trying to steal the master emerald. Rouge being distracted by Knuckles gives Scourge the opportunity to use the Master Emerald for himself. This usage turns Scourge’s fur green, his eyes blue, and marks his official alias change to be ‘Scourge’. After Scourge neutralizes Knuckles, he takes Rouge to Freedom Fighters’ base via Chaos Control with the Master Emerald to face off against Sonic. Shadow gets in the middle of the fight, causing a free-for-all to break out with Scourge and Rouge being the focus of all the Freedom Fighters. Realizing they are outnumbered, Rouge tells Scourge they gotta retreat with the two of them disappearing into a warp ring right as Shadow was catching up to the duo.Dr. Finitevus - an albino echidna and the creator of the warp rings. He became albino after a fight with Super Knuckles where the doctor tried to drain Knuckles’ chaos energy in his super state only for Charmy to intervene and overload the echidna with the syphoned chaos energy. The interference also broke the doctor’s mind and left him with some of Super Knuckles’ abilities. He disappears from the scene for about a year, before returning and being the one who left a warp ring out for Scourge and Rouge. While at this point he has not revealed his plans yet to the two, he intents to ruin Knuckles’ life by making him the infamous Enerjack.> Enerjack - Knuckles’ Alter Ego and the malevolent god of Chaos.Sonic RushSonic Rush AdventureSonic RidersReturn of Scourge - Scourge comes back and takes Sonic head on with Tails being used as bait. During the spat, Scourge mentions that Fiona is actually “his girlfriend” and that Fiona made a deal with him to get a stolen warp ring back from Rouge for Dr. Finitevus. Sonic hands off the ring, continuing to call Fiona pet names on his way out. Fiona, with no knowledge fully to what Scourge has said to Sonic says that “whatever Scourge said was a lie”. Sonic gives Fiona the benefit of the doubt, and the two of them walk home together with Sonic wondering if Fiona is telling the truth that Scourge was just messing with his head.

Wave 7:Sonic Rivals 2Sonic Riders: Zero GravityScourge: Final Round - Amy finds out through Tails about Scourge’s antagonizing during his fight with Sonic claiming that Fiona was secretly “his girlfriend”. The two girls get into a physical fight where Fiona implies that she might actually be before Sonic breaks the two girls up. Amy tells Sonic everything she heard from Tails, and now Sonic confronts Fiona alone about the accusations and her recent disappearances mid-missions from the group. Scourge butts in to say that she has been cheating on Sonic the entire time, as Scourge had put Fiona to a bet. Fiona comes clean that after Sonic’s birthday she was cheating on him with Scourge. Tails intervenes during the entire explanation, begging Fiona not to go with Scourge because he still has a crush on her. Fiona retorts again that not only is Tails too young for her and slaps Tails across the face. The slap causes a group fight to break out. Fiona and Scourge both retreat through another warp ring- leaving Sonic single yet again.The Bet - After Scourge went around impersonating Sonic for a day, Fiona was the only girl who truly found out that it was Scourge the entire time and not Sonic. She confronts Scourge about his actions, claiming that she never would have done anything with him had she known that it was Scourge all along. Scourge counters her claim and dares Fiona to date Sonic, assured in himself that Fiona would come crawling back to him. The bet is made, and Fiona works her way into becoming Sonic’s girlfriend- until now.Empire - Espio uncovers Robotnik’s recent plans, but is captured before he can escape Robotnik’s base. Days later, after Antonie and Bunnie get married, the doctor’s teleportation beam is used by Snivley and Robotnik to displace all of the residents of Knothole (except for the game’s main characters. Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles). Everyone who got zapped by the beam was directly put into the Egg Grape Chamber. Sonic is pushed to his limits against the doctor in his new mech suit- a construct so durable it’s shield alone is able to withstand a hit from Sonic that went across the entire northwest continent. Sonic is defeated, and Eggman lets Sonic live with the wound to his pride. Robotnik on his way back to base rounds up as many other mobians as he can to fill the Egg Grape Chamber to its capacity. Not one to be kept down, the four immediately go after the Doctor and break into the lab amidst the Doctor demonstrating to everyone what the Egg Grape Chamber is capable of with Charmy. Sonic breaks open the capsule, and Tails frees everyone else. Knuckles and Amy keep Robotnik busy, and once Charmy is given medical attention, all the mobians barrel down on Robotnik. Nichole, who tampered with Robotnik’s tech in the chaos of it all, changed the destination of Eggman’s beams to send everyone to a nanite-recreation of the original Mobotropolis, tricking the doctor into aiding in everyone’s escape. Nichole quickly throws up a force field to protect the citizens of her nanite-city, giving Sonic (and everyone else) time to recuperate. Once the core Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix (except Charmy) have recovered, the two groups leave the ninite city to face Robotnik head-on with Sally as their leader once more. The group easily snuff out Robotnik as Snively is distracted by Hope’s war cry to salvage the family name (becoming an engineer for G.U.N.).Wave 8:Sonic and Tails - Since Sonic had started dating Fiona, a rift had built between Sonic and Tails as friends. It all comes to a head when Tails’ refound parents end up in jail and Sonic refuses to help immediately- as the crown says Tails’ father started a riot while Tails claims that his father was doing nothing more than a protest. Tails breaks his father out of prison, and when Nichole gets Sonic to try and defuse the situation- Sonic’s presence only sours Tails to his breaking point. A verbal altercation between Tails’ parents and Sonic breaking out as Sonic implies that Tails’ father should cool off in prison until both sides of the story are heard. Tails’ mother tries to reason with Sonic using Tails as emotional bait, to which Sonic replies that his bond with Tails is stronger than the bond he has with his recently resurfaced parents. Tails attacks Sonic, and the two boys squabble. Only after they vent everything out do they find that Tails’ father and the current king- (Sally’s brother Elias) have come to an agreement at Sally’s direction between the two men.Enerjack - Dr. Finitivus is successful in turning Knuckles into his alter ego. After a rampage ensues, Knuckles comes to New Mobotropolis (the city of nanites made by Nichole) with the intention to get rid of all the technology on Mobius so all Mobians may be able to live “free”. Shadow is called on as backup, and the hedgehog duo face Enerjack head on unaware that the masked villain is Knuckles. At the same time, Eggman has been rebuilding his Egg Grape Chamber while under a loose “truce” with Knothole surrounding the forewarned mysterious Enerjack. Eggman zaps Enerjack with his teleportation beam to put him into the Egg Grape Chamber, and quickly leaves assuming he has ruled the day. Unfortunately for Robotnik, amidst his victorious monologging, Enerjack easily breaks out of the chamber and goes on a rampage destroying his city. Sonic, meanwhile goes to Angel Island. Another fight with Scourge and his new team break out, which gives Enerjack enough time to also return to Angel Island to get another dosage of chaos energy. The two meet at the same time, with Sonic going super with the Master Emerald to take Enerjack on. While Sonic and Enerjack fight in the skies of Mobius, Scourge and Fiona escape to Moebius, assuming that Mobius won’t survive the fight between the Chaos God and Super Sonic. Dr. Finitevus is then confronted by the Freedom Fighters where he admits he placed a hex onto the Master Emerald making the gem’s will conform to his own. This hex was passed onto Knuckles when he tried to use the Master Emerald, turning him into Enerjack. Dr. Finitevus admits he is unsure why Sonic hasn’t also fallen under the hex’s power, but he would love to dissect Sonic once he has seemingly lost to cursed Knuckles. The Freedom Fighters then work to break the hex as a group, and once it is broken Knuckles returns to his true self. Once himself again, Knuckles attempts to fight Dr. Finitivus, only for the mad albino echidna to escape through one of his many warp rings.King Scourge - After their exit at the end of Enerjack’s arc, Scourge and Fiona had gone back to Moebius and had taken it over- making Scourge the king. After asserting himself as superior, he makes every member of the anti-freedom fighters alter their appearance so they hardly resemble their Mobius-selves. After, Scourge returns to Mobius to take it over, coming directly into the Freedom Fighters’ headquarters via a special zone portal made by two star posts. The group re-introducing themselves with their new aliases as a brawl breaks out. With no end to the fight in sight, the freedom fighters abandon their old headquarters and retreat to New Mobotropolis. Sally takes the matter to the kingdom’s council which votes to leave taking back FFHQ for another day since Robotnik’s grip on Mobius is finally dwindling thanks to their direct efforts. Sonic, who doesn’t like the outcome runs off to take on the entire group single-handedly. At the same time, Metal Sonic is sent out by Robotnik to tussle with Sonic, only to find Scourge instead. Scourge and Metal Sonic get into a brawl, only for Sonic himself to jump into the fray too once his request for a temporary truce is denied by Scourge to take out Metal. Amidst the fighting, Scourge returns his words to Sonic that he has untapped potential too. A planted idea that Sonic single-handedly could take over Mobius all on his own if only gave up his moral hero code that has done nothing but give him grief. Sonic ponders on the concept for a moment with Scourge offering that the two of them could go off and take over the multiverse with their other selves as kings of their respective universe. Sonic stumbles giving his answer, and Metal attacks Scourge while he is distracted, reminding both hedgehogs that they were in the middle of a brawl. Suddenly, Robotnik sends out his robotic clone of Scourge, and the four tussle it out. With no headway, Scourge reluctantly gets his Suppression Squad involved to win over the metal clones. Sonic, fatigued from the fight leaves Scourge to still have his stronghold on the FFHQ, returning to New Mobotropolis to fight him another day. Upon Sonic’s return, Sally informs Sonic that they are going to invade Moebius as payback.Ivo Kintobor and Buns Rabbot - Sonic and Amy go to Moebius to recruit Robotnik’s anti-self, Dr.Kintobor. There, Sonic and Amy encounter an anti-version of Omega-123 which is piloted by none other than Buns Rabbot (Bunnie’s Moebius counterpart). She explains that she began developing N.I.D.S. in her spine, and upon Scourge leaving her for dead she ran to Kintobor for help. The Omega-body as we know it on Mobius becomes a mech-suit piloted by Buns which keeps her illness at bay. Not cured, but also not contributing to her condition being worse so long as she stays within the suit. The two tip off Sonic and Amy that all Moebius can offer is Amy’s anti who hates Scourge.
Rosey the Rascal - Amy’s Moebius self who is obsessed with Scourge and has an even more extreme obsession with “Sonic” than Amy herself.Treason - While Sonic and Amy are on Moebius, Miles (anti-Tails) approaches the Freedom Fighters and explains to Sally directly that the Suppression Squad (minus the unknowing Fiona) hate Scourge and want to overthrow him as their king. Sally agrees as it would aid in their goal to rid Scourge as an issue. The mutiny begins as soon as Miles returns to Freedom Fighters HQ, and Sonic returns in the middle of the fight after his attempt to recruit Rosey was unsuccessful. Sonic gets some quips in with Fiona and a few hits to Scourge, but both Sonics are knocked down by a shot from Boomer (anti-Rotor). While out cold. Sonic and Scourge are thrown back through the portal and abandoned with Boomer manually overriding Nichole to shut it down.Silver Returns - Much like in IDW, Silver comes from the future looking for Sonic- but he isn’t the pushover you’ve all come to know from the games! While Sonic is tussling in Moebius, Silver is out on the hunt and quickly catches himself up to speed enough to warp-ring to Moebius and get the blue blur! He is searching out Sonic because in the future one of the freedom fighter betrays the group, causing the future to fall into ruin. Silver assumes it was Sonic, as Sonic is the only one strong enough to defeat the rest of the group single-handedly.Super Scourge - Sonic and Scourge are still busy beating each other’s faces in when Shadow suddenly chaos controls into the fray along with a fully rebuilt Metal Sonic. A moment later, and Silver is there too and everyone breaks out into another all-out fight. Sonic and Shadow agree that the fight is going nowhere, and Sonic reasons with Metal that he’s only there for him, so the other opponents should be eliminated first- mainly Scourge. Sonic reasons with Silver too that once the other opponents are dealt with, they can talk business. Rosey is easy to sway to Sonic’s side for a moment as she needs no convincing to fight Scourge. With everyone now against Scourge, the “king” flees to his throne room where he reveals his secret weapon- the Anarchy Beryls (Moebius’ Chaos Emeralds). Super Scourge is revealed! The Freedom Fighters try to defeat Scourge, but to no avail, having Sonic speed off and lure him away from everyone else. In an act of quick wit, Sonic baits Scourge that he is still better than Scourge because Sonic was able to defeat Scourge in the past without his super form. Scourge takes the bait, saying he can totally take Sonic on and still win without his super form, which has the green hedgehog revert back to normal. With the Anarchy Beryls though as the catalyst, the moment Scourge loses his super form, he becomes extremely ill and even more vulnerable than before he went super at all! In this moment of weakness, Sonic double downs on the fact he will be better because he does things the right way and the good guys always win in the end, thrashing Scourge to the ground in the rain. Scourge is taken to Zone Prison by Sonic, and then the Mobius mobians return home off Moebius.Sonic UnleashedIron Queen X Snivley - with the world in chaos still from Dark Gaia and Eggman demoralized from another defeat, Snivley gives the keys to the Eggman Empire to the Iron Queen. Together, in secret, they plot to take over the world and eventually get rid of all the barriers that currently exist in their way for their relationship to flourish. Monkey Khan barges into New Mobotropolis to hold the Freedom Fighters accountable for their lack of action, as they wrongly assume that Eggman along with his associate’s actions are through with his recent fall from grace. A bit of catching up later, and Khan reveals that the Iron Queen is already taking over other resistance bases, to which Sonic is the first to go out and liberate their allies from the new Eggman Empire. During the run, Sonic reveals that him and Sally are no longer together to Monkey Khan, giving him his long-awaited in to again push the couple apart.

Wave 9:Broken Robotnik - after over a decade of trifling with the blue blur, Sonic takes the fight to Robotnik one more time on Robotnik’s own turf. Robotnik once again loses- but this time, when it seems like another casual Tuesday battle, Robotnik mindbreaks. Sonic is declared victorious- though Sonic is clearly left with a hollowness within. Memories of the last time he had won over Robotnik coming back to mind, and how the mission went all too smoothly. Little did he know then, Snively was aiding the Freedom Fighters on all along, and hoped for Sonic to win so Robotnik would succumb to his dwindling mental health. Snively then puts Eggman into a white-room with his very own straight jacket- leaving the reigns of the empire in his hands. Alongside him, the Iron Queen!. . .

Other Zones (AUs):The Discovery Zone - An AU of the Primeverse, in this dimension Sonic is a Noir Detective working in the underground to aid the Femme Fatale, Sally Acorn.Nichole - an ironic twist on fate. Nichole comes from a timeline that eventually never comes to fruition where Sonic and Sally had gotten married with Rotor (the team’s supergenius engineer prior to Tails taking up the mantle) being her creator. Much like Silver in Sonic 06, her involvement with the Freedom Fighters in the past changes how the future’s outcome- including her involvement with Sally when Sally told Nichole to make sure Eggman’s world roboticizer beam only hit herself- de-canonizing that Sonic and Sally ever get married.Enerjak Won - A Bad End timeline that Silver finds on accident when trying to use the time stones to travel back to the past and uncover the traitor among the core Freedom Fighters. Headcanons:Inspired from other versions of Sonic the Hedgehog and interpretations of the character.

Favorite Color - His favorite color is Red, just like his shoes! Because of this, I like to imagine Sonic also is attracted to red heads. Thus he usually gravitates towards red-colored or themed partners (Sally, Shadow, Amy, Knuckles, Fiona- etc).Commitment Issues - An extension of his fallout with Sally, Sonic struggles committing to any form of a relationship with others or getting too close with others in general. His heart still desires Sally too, but recently he has been attempting to move on away from Sally given even if he saved her from her mechanization, Sonic doubts that the Princess and himself would work out given the Princess' commitment to her title.Age - Sonic is stated to be 16 and has had 2 canonically shown bithdays since- one in the games and the second when Scourge appears. Thus at minimum he is 18. Thus, he is of age in this canon, though I personally set him to be closer to his very, very early 20s with Sonic having not seen Mecha Sally for awhile due to his verse not being rebooted.
